Dagana Tshechu Regional Folk Festival

"The Dagana Tshechu is the district's principal religious festival, held annually at Dagana Dzong with sacred Cham masked dances performed by resident monks and lay village performers. The festival is notable for the regional folk dance traditions unique to the Dagana-Tsirang cultural zone — particularly the Zhungdra and Boedra classical song forms performed between ritual dances. Village craftswomen set up stalls selling hand-loomed rachu scarves and cane baskets, creating a vibrant rural festival market at the dzong gate."
