Saga La Border Ridge Scramble

"The Saga La ridge marks Bhutan's border with Tibet, rising above 4,600 metres through juniper scrubland and glacier-carved gullies on Haa's northern skyline. A challenging full-day ascent from Haa town follows a hunters' trail through rhododendron and fir, emerging onto a wind-swept ridge crest with sweeping views of the Haa Valley, the Chinese plateau, and snowfields of Chomolhari and Jichu Drake visible to the east. Stone ruins of a former border watchtower mark the highest accessible point."
